My Biggest Pet Peeve
Is when kids disrespect their parents (and when i talk about kids, i’m not talking about age-wise, but also “adults” who act like kids).
Those type of kids who get angry at their parents, back talk, and even rebel (sneak out, runaway, etc.) because their parents don’t let them go out late or to a certain place, or because their parents don’t have the funds/or don’t want to buy them a car, games, clothes, etc. those type of kids who ignore their parents phone calls, the ones that break curfews, the ones that that cuss at their parents because they’re “unfair” and think they’re “all grown up and can take care of themselves”.
it’s like HOLD UP, what?
Unfair? You think your parents are unfair for not letting you do as you please (most of the times it’s something bad anyways)? Need i remind you who feeds you, who pays for your tuition, bought your car (or drove you around when you couldn’t drive), who clothes you, who provides a home and roof for you, and who loves and worry about you. Until you can match your parent’s effort, then they pretty much can say whatever they please. You CAN NOT pay back your parents enough, yet you have the nerve to defy/disobey just to get what you want even though you KNOW you’d hurt your parents? Have some respect.
All grown up? You ARE NEVER grown up enough to disrespect your parents. Just cause you have your minimum wage job and your mommy-daddy bought car you think you’re all grown and you can take care of yourself and do as you please? You can never hold it down like your parents did for you, so you need to sit your ass down. You don’t have to get along with your parents, but you do have to respect them.
One word of advice: don’t bite the hand that feeds you
